Where are the M8s with CCB

Currently have an F90 and considering making the move to a M8GC. However I am finding that very few have CCBs, why is that the case? My last two M5s had CCBs and its a must!

I have one with CCB. When I was looking in Dec/Jan, there weren't that many with CCBs, and I had to get a comp version to add it to the order.

Most of the CCB are on the coupes, not gran coupes. And the m8comp, not m8.

They ain't cheap and from what I have heard they result in a rougher ride for city driving.

Mine is M8 competition very full loaded.
With CCB that I stressed even on track.
Yes they are expensive but they do an excellent job even under heavy loading.
Good response and modulation.
Big jump from M4 CCB!!

My M5 and M6 both had CCB, the bite was unreal. Wish they offered it on X6M.

Also no brake dust!

Had those on M5 F90 and love them but wife hates driving this car due to being jerky upon the slightest touch! It looks we need to feather the brakes too

M8 no CCB and I do kiss that "Unreal bite"

We have and had CCB’s on the AMG‘s and I can’t think of any reasons not to get them. The lack of brake dust alone is worth the price.

Never had a MB dealer advise against them but every BMW dealer did suggest not to get them.
They squeal, they break harsher, etc. All not the case IMO.

People just need to properly brake and not ride the brakes. Plus you need to burnish CCB’s

Once done, they are smooth and are quiet.

My experience with the CCB has been nothing but positive. Less squeal than my X5M with normal M brakes.
