M8GC looks good, but nothing will beat the M6GC in terms of design, its timeless

Excited about the tech and performance bump from my m6gc. The interior design is not as unique as the m6 with the swoop. Will wait to actually see one to make up my mind. I did not like the 992 in pictures but irl it looks fine.

Agree to disagree.
I've always felt the 6 series looked old and dated, even at launch. I love the 8 series and feel like it's a great step to be more aggressive at the top of the range. Hopefully it will give MB and Audi some healthy competition.

This car will be timeless, great simple elegant design IMO.
The last "6" badged from BMW!

That’s a hot car.

8er GC, CLS/AMG GT sedan, A7 line, Panamera...

You literally can’t go wrong with any of these.

Funny you say that. Very true. I will give the looks though to the BMW, I think it's stellar but with that logic, your right, I bet the P is still the better drivers car.

For the money I would mosey right on over to Porsche and drive off in a GT3.
Neither the Panamera Turbo or the GT3 are comparable in price range. You can have a well optioned M8GC for 160k. a similar optioned Panamera Turbo would be upwards of 190-200k. GT3 is over 200k, 2 doors, and a purpose built racecar.

The M8GC has a major power advantage over the Panamera Turbo, but nod to the Panamera on instrument cluster, transmission, and braking. I still cannot get behind the Live Cockpit. It almost kills the entire car for me, and why I decided to get a 2019 F90 vs a 2020

To be accurate, in addition to more power and torque, the Competition model also adds a different suspension setup, Individual Full Merino Leather / Alcantara interior, 20" forged wheels, M Sport Exhaust, Extended Shadowline exterior trim, and a TRACK mode for M Views.

Seems to me the totally different suspension setup, forged wheels, full-Merino interior, exhaust, and "tune" is about right for $14k what do you think this option should cost? $6k?
What you don't understand is that those things should be standard in a 140k car lol you've let this whole competition tax take over your brain, wow I get to finally get full leather only after paying an additional 14k ontop of 140k? Wow I'll just be so blessed. Wow a I get a cooled seat option that's not even standard on a 140k car wow yeah I mean it's only reasonable that it doesn't come standard *sarcasm* Incase you didn't catch it. You are the type of person why this whole comp package thing has gotten out of hand. Seriously you mentioned extended shadow line as a valid reason for part of a 14k option? Man just stop.

I would expect ALL of that on top of more power like actually more power not a laughable .1 second faster plus many carbon accessories.

Thanks for being totally unhelpful and being a typical loudmouth wanting to knock down someone else’s post. Google isn’t going to show me the colors ON THIS CAR. But don’t worry, someone else on this thread was actually helpful and told me how use the visualizer with this car and colors.

First, my only point was that $14k for the options included in the Comp option isn't unreasonable; and the included options you stated was incomplete and inaccurate.

What you don't understand is this $143k car does include those options. Apparently you're really arguing for only offering the Competition model. Somehow having a 'stripper' M8GC isn't cool with you. Have you considered that there are some that are willing to forgo those options to save $14k? What's wrong with choices?

Seeing the renders of the new M4, I really wish BMW designers would've just copied this and shrunk it down instead. Would've been epic!

Of course anyone can spend their money how they see fit yes some can forgo options that would otherwise be standard on most cars in that price range. So they wouldn't have to give up anything. Everyone has their own opinion and is entitled so. Just really don't see the appeal in this car at all personally. Doesn't mean it's true for everyone. I don't even see the purpose of it. What is this car supposed to do that isn't being done by a m3 and m5? And uglier than the m3 and m5

I'd argue the M8GC is sleeker than an M5 or M3; and it definitely has more presence on the road. It's not even close imo.

I suppose this is a sexier/sportier 7 series, if rear seat is 5 series size (and trunk size) then I can see some pick this.

Personally think M850i GC is all the power you need though...
