BMw typically uses prior dealership sales as part of their allocation math. When it comes to M cars then the dealerships volume of M sales also is a variable.
Yes that is true but oddly when I ordered my 2013 M6 we got put way down the line. Then again I did have a special order paint at $5000 and 2 weeks.

That's what I'm fully expecting to happen. I'm waiting for this car to come in with horrible residuals , no program and over sticker and then 1 year later to flop and we will enter the $1500 a month stage and I can enjoy it in peace.

It's always comical when dudes on here compare a nicely option M car to a bare bone P car ie 911.

What would you prefer, a top-tiered Tudor or a basic Rolex?

The Carrera S (RWD) in C/D's recent testing was pretty much the same price (around $150k) and it was well equipped and produced similar performance numbers to the M8 with 0-60 being 3.0 seconds in C/D's testing. Of course its lower on horsepower and torque but it also weighs 1000lbs less!

I configured a C4S recently and with the right amount of options for me it was 132k. It's a better car for my purposes and less expensive as built.

Depends what you want a sporty GT or more of a sports car

I prefer an M8 as a oppose to a 911. I prefer a GT3 to an M8.

HP and around the track maybe. But fit and finish—- Not the same here. This is my first bmw and I own a (classic) mustang
Fact is your looking at the same plastic interior dash and screens as in the $29k mustang 4cyl. Come on...

I guess you're going with the 991.2 s. I'm going M8.
