The lease on my 2017 Frozen Black 750i is up in 6 months.
My dealer has a 2020 M8 GC non comp available Build sheet Z9W British Racing Green X3JT Taruma Brown Full Leather Interior ZRZ BMW Individual Manufaktur Package This is not a colour that I would intuitively select. The only reason for me to consider this specific unit is the fact that it is being offered as an executive demo - possibly a press car - interestingly they tell me the car has done only 90 kms. The interest rate and discount make it significantly more attractive than a new buy. I have not seen the vehicle. I have not seen pics of the specific vehicle. The manager that I deal with initially told me he thinks it's the launch edition ( Green with gold accents ) however nothing on the build sheet suggests that. I am posting my thoughts after receiving the build details a few minutes ago. These are the preliminary issues I am contemplating - Thoughts from fellow BMW fans about this colour combo ? Considering that I have 6 months remaining in my lease should I consider waiting for the GC prices to tank before making an acquisition ? I do lease - and if BMW starts offering trunk money that would buy the lease payment down. Should I choose an alternate vehicle in the Competition spec and sacrifice the Individual Manufaktur option - for the same or less money ? I would love to drive the M8GC. I need 4 doors and (almost ) 5 seats, supercar performance, something that looks sexy and sounds aggressive. There's very few cars that offer this combo. I've had the AMG E63S and Panamera Turbo , and have too many friends with M5s. Appreciate the advice. I am in Canada. |

It's not easy being green, to quote Kemit the frog. Which is my view on green as a colour.
That said, and please check the 8 forum on the main threads, because there are a number of posts with cars in British racing green. Including one with a bright red interior (the guy was colour blind). The car looks fantastic in this colour. The fact it is a sporty car, means it all works and your interior spec will look way better than the bright red. |

Green is an awesome color, but it depends on the shade, BRG should work as its a nice and dark color that looks very elegant, similar to an emerald green.

It should be gorgeous but then again I'm partial to green. In fact prior to my falling in love with the Fiona Red/Black interior I flaunted with British Racing Green (312) as an exterior but ultimately chose Verde Ermes (P7T) which is slightly lighter and also a metallic paint vs uni-paint (which is BRG's case). Ultimately, I chose different for the exterior due to my interior requirements. Best thing is for you to see it in person and decide one way or another.
