Euro Delivery isn't limited to BMW.

Audi, Porsche, Mercedes and even Volvo offer ED to their customers.

No real interest in anything they've made since the E9x. Overpowered blunt instruments.

How is the M2 an overpowered blunt instrument? It's quite wonderful, and this is coming from an E92 M3 owner

Dullness makes it blunt.
It doesn't have that "Sharpness" feeling, muted steering and a hint of turbo lag does that.

But no, they approved it and replaced it. It's been in the shop since 9/5.. still haven't seen the car. I think when I filed for lemon law, they are just fixing absolutely everything now. Since they put the motor in, they have replaced something with crossbolts (holds the motor or something), wheel bearings, brake pads, exhaust system, C02 sensor and a bunch of other stuff. I think once I filed, they probably had a higher-up probably call and say "Fix everything since it's going to be a lemon" LOL.

I didn't post about it, since I just wanted to move on to the next car. It also slipped my mind haha!
I know this post is a bit stale... but, what? Did you actually let the engine get so low on oil that it had oil starvation?

Have you driven a M240i or M2 --- What the hell are you talking about!

The ECU wasn't reading the oil correctly. And there is no dipstick.

So three things made it run low on oil. First; the motor was burning an extreme amount of oil.

Second; the "electronic" dipstick (aka the computer) didn't work and said I was full on oil.

Third; not a single check engine light letting me know low oil pressure/low oil/etc.

They did replace the motor though once approval came through.

There was a time when Bimmers were fun to drive regardless of the engine or how many M components they had! Now you have to opt for the likes of a M240, M2, or M4 for an enjoyable experience. The M4 is actually too refined and isolated, so only the 2-series is legit.

Thanks for the clarification. The machine was indeed somehow manufactured incorrectly. I couldn't see any way you would have let the engine get so low on oil it would starve a bearing.

Hmmm, how did this become an independent thread? I remember I was replying to another post.
