The review was very informative. Looking forward to the future review of M850i GC.

nice review. I finally was able to drive one of these this past weekend. Car is amazing. Its a little big for my personal use but for someone looking for that class of car its a pretty good way to go. Car def doesn't lack in power

Think it's funny that he was upset that it doesn't have the seatbelt caddy. I remember how much people loathed those things in the e92.

The F06/12/13 has them in the seat (which ironically is what the E31 did) and it is much much easier to find the seatbelt in an M6 than it is the M2 or M4 which also don't have the caddy and have the seatbelt coming out of the B pillar

I have a client that built one in carbon black that should be here in two weeks and I'm excited to see it.

The more I see them the more I like them. It's quite a stylish car in person especially the fastback roofline. The rear 3/4 is really nice.

I sat inside one with white interior and didn't come away very impressed with the interior design. I know it would look better in brown or red but it should feel special in any color. It gave off strong X5 vibes which works fine if the car were X5 priced.

I have around 700 miles on my M850 and I continue to love it. People appear to take a liking to the car as well. Garage attendants are always impressed with the car, especially the sound. I keep my car with Maserati's, Porsche's, and Mercs. They seem to like mine the best but they may be blowing smoke up my ass. I've been challenged to get at it on the highway more times than I'd like to admit. I don't always take the bait unless they have a legit chance. Lol. I love this car more and more tbh. Still always excited to get into it. I'm sure the M8 will be ridiculous but I don't see myself needing much more than what this car has to offer.

I will preface this by saying this is my first BMW and I kinda get why BMW owners are the way they are. Lol. I am not a fan boy by any means and I am new to this slightly insane but fun community. Before this car I had a Range Rover Sport supercharged. Same horsepower just a lot heavier. Lol. Can't compare the two at all obviously. Before that an S4. All very different to be honest. Loved each of them in their own way. My buddy had an M4 and I rode with him and was very impressed. You can judge me on my lack of sports car ownership if you'd like. I can just tell you that I don't have any regrets.

BMW has massaged many of their “not full M cars” so well and fast that the cost to rewards are not worth it for many.
The ride of the upcoming M8 will be harsher as well. This is a major issue for many of us that want a powerful vehicle but don’t need it to be so hard core. I think the M850 hits it just right. How much faster do you need to go and you will end up paying $25k more to go only .20 of a second faster 0-60mph with a full M and have a harsher over all ride. Unless you track the car, it’s not a good trade off.

Spot on! I am using this as my daily driver so I do want some comfort during my commute.
