Emissions test is varies state to state, so I can't comment on that.
But, for sure, ER high-flow catted is for race purposes and may trigger CEL.
The only one that is guaranteed not throwing CEL is ActiveAutowerke.

Depends on your state

In Las Vegas, they do an OBD check and since the secondary pipes do not have sensors, it will not trigger the check engine light and you will pass.

What type of sound do secondaries add to the system?

With resonator pull I like the X pipe sound rather than a sharp, drony and poppy sound with the straight pipes. Wouldn’t mind more growl and depth, but would want to avoid significantly more sharpness and bangs

Because of how the exhaust is ran through the turbos and the dual intake setup you really start to hear each bank in the lower RPMs and when you wind up RPMs it has a much more exotic sound that comes together quite nicely. It won't be deep like an American V8 by any means it does get more sharp. I'll do another video with this titanium exhaust when it comes in and gets fitted. My hopes is it has an even more exotic tune with titanium which seems to be the case most of the time. I'm still holding out to do primaries more for the sake of removing all that dang heat out of the engine bay and away from the turbos... Need to be able to easily code out that CEL.

ER catless secondary down pipes added to the new titanium Valvetronic exhaust with factory flaps sounds great! I’m sure it would be louder all the time if I used the valve remote and box setup, but this is perfect for me. Hope this helps others who are looking into this setup. Thanks for all the guidance everyone!

Just installed today! Overall the sound is much more finished and exotic sounding. Cleaner more consistent tones and no drone whatsoever. I enjoy this type of sound with a cross plane manifold, lets that V8 come to life. Install was a breeze took two guys little less than 3hrs taking time and drinking a beer while watching football. Working on getting video made but that will take a week or two to finish up. Weighs nothing compared to the SS system I had on.

My preference, they can go back in quite a bit but I like the aggressive look of them sticking out a bit. I'm also used to flame tunes and it just becomes habit... lol
