$ = Dollar

If it were Euros, the price would be much higher.

Until Audi officially release a price this price is pure speculation, probably accurate speculation but speculation none the less.

P.S.

The guy who claimed the $100k price tag was none other than 'shiggy'. I wonder why he is so keen to make it appear so dear.

$69,000 base. I'm still on the fence on whether that is fair. It's getting close, I suppose it depends on what a base model RS5 comes with.

I'm looking for a 335i replacement in a year (HFPF issue, rattles, etc). I'll have to keep an eye on this car.

If it's due out late NEXT year, I am not getting this car forget it.

I will wait for some further announcements, looks like a Monte Carlo Blue M3 on that really nice beige leather for me.

Oh well, atleast it'll be MCB.

I have been lurking on here for about two years now and this BMW forum has helped me to finally pull the plug and sell off my S4 that I have had for 3 yrs and get a used 2008 M3. This is my first BMW and the S4 was my 4th Audi.
I really enjoy my M3 and everything about it, especially the way it drives. This is by far the best car I have ever driven and by far the best car I have owned.
Now that there has been several threads regarding the RS5 and now the reports are now coming in, im starting to regret buying this car. My S4 was in fantastic shape, it had only 25,000kms on it and I would of been ok to drive it for another two years, but now I have a feeling I made a bad mistake!

damn, I should of shown some self restraint and waited for this masterpiece RS5!!...damn damn damn!!

Don't regret the M3, it's a fantastic machine!!! Enjoy what you have, it may be the last of the N/A powered M cars! RS5 can always come later, maybe even as an addition to your M3

If you always waited for the next new thing then you would never make the jump to get anything. Also the M3 is like you said a incredible thing to drive.

Why not sit put and in a couple of years or so and get a used RS5 then.

M and AMG come often in the same time. RS come just between the two generations. So either you allways have M or AMG, or alwways RS. If you want both you have to change more often ot "just" get an addition.

It was myself.

I read what I read regarding price but should have waited to relay what I read until some fact could have been applied to what I read.

Not too proud to admit it either. It was a forecast price article and that's all.

You don't need to be all doom and gloom about it Enjoy ur M3 for a couple of years and when it's time, sell it and with the money you get from it, put it into the RS5 I mean really, you have a M3...... A lot of people think it's "THE" car to get, and they are right. The darn thing has everything from an awesome engine, sweet handling, incredible sound and it looks great. The only real regret you'll probably have is when you actually see a RS5 on the road lol

Listen guys, I am pretty confident that the finish article with a modest spec will be around the $75K mark.

well, im going to my friends farm and he has this great blacktop area where is going to teach me how to drift, it should be fun.
so ill learn to enjoy my purchase!!
I will wait patiently and get the RS5 when it does hit canada...I want that car in BLACK!!!
as far as regret when i finally see one on the road....I kinda like the m3 looks better, to me, its far more aggressive looking, but thats what I like about the RS5, all that performance in a car that looks so conservative.
