Not a garage queen

Was driving from Vail,CO to Aspen,CO on highway 24 to independence pass. Independence pass/top of the rockies is a national scenic byway that is pure driving bliss. I started off at 7k elevation and peaked just over 12k and back down to 8k elevation. One section of the road gets so narrow that it turns into one lane for both directions of traffic.

Anyway, About twenty minutes into the drive, I start seeing a few porsches. I thought it was cool because sports cars are not too common in this area. I continue a long and end of seeing about 100 porsches within a two hour period. Keep in mind this is on a isolated back road highway that is driving perfection. Turns out there was some huge type of Porsche meet going on in Colorado and I ended up right in the middle of it. I truly enjoyed driving behind this Carrera GT. The sound a lone is an experience.

I did that drive in a Nissan Armada, I assume it was a lot more enjoyable in the 3er!

It was the 54th Annual Porsche Parade by the PCA.

It was at Keystone this year.
