Wheel wells and advanced aerodynamics

Today I'd like to talk regarding opening up the wheel well ventilation holes.

There are multiple venting holes in the front of the wheel that, supposedly, help cooling the tires (see picture 1). I have those opened.

What about the fake venting holes on the sides of the car, right behind the front wheels (picture 2). I bet those are open on an M8 GTE.

Do you guys think we can just remove that plastic cap with "M8" label to open up the airflow to reduce lift in the wheel well?

Not sure just creating a hole will provide the proper airflow to the right place.

The M8 will not be a commonly tracked vehicle but ideally you would have something like they developed aftermarket for the AMG GTR; front and rear brake ducts. They have also improved the cooling on the AMG GTR Pro...

Here is a place in Germany. I would contact them and ask If they can recommend a source for BMW.
