Actually that isn’t correct. The 991.2 turbo S did 1:31.23 and the 991.2 turbo (non S) did 1:31.38 which is faster than the M8C’s 1:31.77...and again those cars are on a decade old platform and not in production anymore. The 992S also did 1:32.36 which again shouldn’t be so close given its ultra low power rating.

The 991.2 Carrera GTS also did 1:31.61...also faster than the M8C.

The M8 time is good though, no doubt.

This is becoming farcical. The time you quoted for the Turbo S was achieved by the 607 hp $ 260 000 Turbo S Exclusive, not the 991.2 Turbo S. See attached scan for the 1:32,71 for the 991.2 Turbo S.

The time you quoted for the Turbo was achieved on semi-slicks. The GTS time you quoted was also achieved on the optional 80 treadware tire. The Carrera GTS on the standard tire posted a 1:32,99, way slower than the M8.

Btw, the 991.2 Turbo S is still for sale, and is still in production, until the new model arrives.
