The last TVR? 2007, when they were owned by a Russian. It clearly didn't go well.

The old Speed Six motor sounded awesome, when it wasn't eating its own components.

Nice to see TVR back, hopefully the quality will be as good as the designs. The Sagaris, was absolutely a cool design and was my favorite of the TVRs , wish they offered them state side.

TVR looks massively better and more balanced. The Supra Concept looked like bread left to rise too long.

I've been a big, albeit not wealthy enough, fan of TVR since John Travolta drove one around in the movie Swordfish. Just tremendous looking and sounding vehicles.

FriskyDingo has it right: TVR never sold cars in the U.S. because it was a corporate mantra not to burden TVRs with unnecessary equipment like airbags, ABS, reinforced bumpers, etc. It was so dedicated to lightness, the NA market wasn't even considered.

What killed TVR was bad investment and business practices, an insistence on using its own motors, and horrible reliability.

Now that the European market is, in some ways, more stringent than the U.S. one, TVRs here are likely only a matter of time if this revival works ... and since the Griffith is using a Mustang V8, it's already got a head start in both mechanical reliability and emissions.

Short of a Jag E-Type, TVR's are the most beautiful British cars ever built. Supra-esque rear aside, this thing is stunning.

You mean the 570s? cuz those lights look nothing like 720s lights.

Either way, it looks like a ebay replica of the Supra concept.. other than the profile, its ugly AF.
