I'm not saying that this was absolutely the case, but if he was F/I, you would still pull on him in your PROcede 335i, but it would be much closer than if he were stock; my guess is that he was in fact F/I (and you would never know if you just ran with him on the hwy.).
My buddy is putting out over 460 rwhp and over 300 ft lbs.

Here's a vid from about 4 months ago.

Your right, with bolt-ons it seems more possible. A competent driver behind the wheel is key for this car, though.
Definitely...which is pretty much the opposite of the 335 where any retard can drive it fast.

The S2000 weights about 2800 lbs. Driver had a female passanger.

The 335 weights about 3600 lbs + me 230 lbs + 50 lbs bag in my trunk.

When we got to a flat ground, he didn't want to race anymore.

I know the steep uphill must have worked against me (since my car is way heavier) but I'm still a little disapointed. I was expecting to rape him.

Even on a straight line, you wont rape an S2000. My cousin has one stock and its fast. You won't pull too hard on it. And on a track forget it. Don't underestimate the S2000s Its a high reving light car. I'm surprised you pulled on him at all up a steep hill. Maybe he doesn't know how to shift properly. Show respect cause he can keep up with a 430 on a track. Maybe not stock, but even stock its a fast car.

you mean the s2k shifts later cuz of the high revs? i think the 01-03s(?) have a 9k redline, while the 04-07s(?) have a 8.1k redline. (someone correct me if im wrong). s2k will make a 328, 330 ass bleed. the s2k is a light quick car and can hold its own on the track.

when i had my '04 rsx-s i crushed my friend's e90 330 by bus lengths, but i had i/toda rh/k-pro/pullies/tune. i also beat my cousin's 01 s2k by 1-2 car lengths and he had k&n filter/intake (forgot), fujibitso exhaust, toda header, buddy club N+, cusco front strut bar.

did you recently race the new GT's? like 06-07? the one with 300hp? those things are fuckin quick and i know they will crush a z4 like nothing.

--

final drive and bolt-ons on a s2k is quick, i think they can keep up or beat a stock 335i, i really dont know. all i know that they are fast.

Nice, but your buddy's F/I S2000 was turbo running 14.5psi vs. my old neighbor's F/I S/C'd S2000, which I believe was around 300BHP +/- 20HP. It's a great track car, but not a very good DD (which is what my neighbor had told me...he had a Honda Accord as a DD). The S2000 is a great, small and light sports coupe for ~ $32k, but if your looking at this car for a track/weekend car, why not save up more $$ and get a lighter and much better handling (and exotic looking) Lotus Elise for $55k?

My bro's weekend/track car; the silver Lotus Elise w/ an intake and NOS on the left :rocks: ...

I'm sure it could be close, but I doubt it pulls 1.0g on the skid pad like a stock Lotus Elise.

well.... actually you are wrong. my stock S2000 handles better than my 2005 330ci ZHP with H&R RSS Coilovers, H&R front and rear sway bars, and 245/265 tires. at one point i had aragosta custom coils on the s2000 and it was tested on a G-Tech and pulled 1.04 G's on stock wheels and tires. granted it's only a G-tech but the margin of error isn't that large. at the very least it was doing 1.02.
