Comparo makes the F30 come out looking like what it is- a washed up shell of it's former self.

That said, Maximas still suck.

I have owned three Maximas over the years, great cars. But FWD and a CVT are trash. It may perform decently in these tests but I am always wary of these types of tests.

All I heard about the Focus ST was how it felt like a RWD car, I read so many praising articles and then I got a chance to drive one at an event and it torque steered just like any other powerful FWD turbo car I have ever driven.

Whoever said a Focus ST feels RWD is full of shit. I drove one before buying my GTI, and my car feels way, way more neutral and less FWD than the ST.

Yeah it uses some trickery like braking the rear inside wheel in a corner to make feel RWD. But I did not get that feeling at all. My other buddy is an accomplished SCCA driver who owns a Fiesta ST as a daily and while it handles well, it too suffers from the same problem, especially when you add power to it.

Exactly. I hate those stupid brake-based systems. I made sure to get my GTI with a proper LSD.

CVT means automatic fail. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.
