BMW said 1 hour wait…and of course, two and a half hours later, the guy showed up. I had the flat repair kit ready to go, but first I tried filling it at a gas station air pump and I could see the air escaping and the tire would not go above 20psi - so I knew it was a hole and I didn’t want to waste the kit. Anyway, they ended up repairing it with a patch and they think it’s good to go.

And hell ya I say the same thing, these cars get crushed by those cement blocks daily. Its the good in me that types once in a while.

I still need to learn how to park though

That is a very positive way of looking at it Snare...

I like that alot.

curb rash is another reason why I back in as much as possible but I do hate the location of the mirror on back up. It dips sooooo far down and I hear there is no way to adjust it except coding.

Well they are not as grabby as OEM that is for sure, but they do make the hold function operate smoother if that makes sense. I just washed her up tonight and all I needed to do was hose it off the rims and back to shiny clean.

Please bear with me. So, while I'm here on this thread and the topic of backing in helps Vic55 sleep at night, I thought I would offer this. Obviously not an 8 series of any kind, but there it was as I pulled away from an overlook at Mesa Verde National Park today. A '63 Ford Farlaine wagon. Looking totally abandoned. And perfectly backed in.

Well, I don't know about perfectly backed in. I think if the driver had used the car's cameras it might have been a little straighter.
