in memory of CLIMKT
Dear All
This post is in loving memory of my dear pal climkt, a manual BMW fanatic from Singapore. A great brother who loves driving and doing up his cars with nice kits and rims. He found a home in e90post even though we have our own BMW forum in Singapore and he spends most late nights surfing this site. He had a seizure in the early hours of Friday 27th Oct 2006 and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance at 4am and (edited this section: "He collapsed while at work") has departed for a place where the gate is of pearl and the streets are gold and where there will be no more tears about 2 hours later. Suspected to be an underlying, undetected heart condition. Dude, hope you had fun with your E46 325, 318 and E90 320. Sorry you never got to buy your E92 325 and E60 525. God bless & You will be missed 1972 to 2006 __________________________________________________ ____ short extract from my local papers today: "A 35 year old doctor and father of four died yesterday apparently after a seizure in the early hours of the morning (27th Oct 2006) ............. "Dr Christopher Lim Kim Tho, whose youngest child is just an infant, was a registrar in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery....... "....... most commonly caused by an underlying undetected heart condition......." __________________________________________________ __ achtung Last edited by achtung; 10-28-2006 at 05:45 AM.. |

Wha....!!
Shoot, we exchanged words before. He seems like a nice guy, very passionate about his SG E90 (with the Kerscher, M5 wheels and M-rear). He was a physician, right? Very sorry and shocked to hear that...and so young too. Thoughts and prayers to all he left behind.... edit: His last post was yesterday too...I'm just blown away.

Very sad to see one of our very own go at such a young age. Reminds one to enjoy life and appreciate all that you have. Hope he's in a better place.

I am shocked and so sad to hear this terrible news.
My last chat with him was on the subject about E92 price in Singapore. He will be missed by many of us. I will never forget him. He has been such a nice friend to me. Yes, he was a true and pure manual tranny lover:- "yup my 320 i manual is already great to drive, a 335 manual must be a dream to drive." http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...8&postcount=58 t

Man................ I remember just looking at his illuminated shift knob thread the other day.
Condolences to his family and friends. I'm sure I speak for everybody on this forum, our prayers are with him. I'm sure he's in heaven ripping it up in his E92 335 manual as we speak

life is not measured by duration. It's measured by donation and he's contributed a lot this forums and also to the people around him. R.I.P man. We'll miss you around here.
