Anyone had a good roadforce under 18lbs but a bent wheel still? Feeling some jitter that I can't determine is normal or not... M850i convertible. Drives perfectly straight and no noises or suspension oddity.

Tire shop says all 4 slightly bent, ordered refurbished replacement online it's also slightly bent. Considering getting rid of this car it's not worth it.

Uh….they are wheels. Go get them straightened….most shops will do that for $125 a wheel.

We only have mobile places that do that here and none will commit to making it better than it is currently because the bends are only noticable from the back side when spun on a balancer.

Find that hard to believe…..they should be able to get a reading of the runout on the tires and then straight them to like 0.05 if an inch of being perfectly round (which basically are straight). I’m surprised you feel anything with that low of road force. You could have straight wheels and have road force as high or higher due to the tires.

Believe it, the last one I called said he fixes 50 wheels a week he chases the I can't drive it to work crowd not the perfectionist crowd.

I feel a minor shimmy and I'm extremely sensitive to NVH... On the balance machine you can see the slightest out of round from the back side it's totally not evident on any wheel off the car without spinning.

Can't get rid if a car just for that reason. Never ever had good days ? Change the wheels instead.....don't bother trying to make old like new. If you have 20 Inch wheels ....try 19 Inch for more cushion ...may not look as sexy as 20 Inch but cheaper than selling the car.

I use these guys but at their Northern Illinois location. They are a chain but all privately owned and operated. They do all the dealers around here, too….

They have one in Milwaukee and they are pretty darn good too.

Thanks, that's Roy and he did a minor curb rash only m340i wheel for me 2yrs ago. Some clear was missed on the machined lip and he said just order a new wheel I can't make it unnoticeable... So that's what I ended up doing.

I do have some options in the Detroit area. I talked to a few shops and this is routine for them to straighten wheels to spec as they have inhouse facilities to do so. I guess I need to get it on jack stands now and drive them over there.
