Woo Hoo. Hey folks. Coming over from the M5 Forum. Just brought home a 2022 Carbon Black M850GC today with carbon roof, carbon bits, black interior and carbon fiber trim - I guess the name is appropriate. Had 3 years in the F90 - loved every minute, but I've wanted some variety of an 8 ever since I saw one.

Rides like a dream, with most of the M grunt. I'll be OK.

To be honest, - how often is anyone using 100% of an M5 or M8's power ALL of the time? I'm sure you'll find the combination of low end torque and power well beyond adequate in that car.

I love the blend of power, tech and comfort of my '22 M850 Convertible, it's a great vehicle. Enjoy the miles!

Curious on your thoughts going from the M5 to the 850? I'm thinking of doing the same. Pm me if easier.

Congrats! What's a beauty.

Throw a Racechip or the Dinan branded piggyback (it's a Racechip but cheaper and comes with a Dinan warranty) in there. That'll get the N63 near as damn it to the same power as the S63TU from your F90.

The thought has crossed my mind. It has the same torque, but even being down almost 100 hp, it is really screaming fast. I don't feel disappointed in the power at all. Weird.

My wife's X5 M50i has the same engine and it's a blast… I hear ya.
