End of 2019 or beginning of 2020. Definitely!

You probably won't see it this year. They haven't even unveiled it as yet. My best guess would be first quarter of 2020.

It should be cheaper than the coupe version by about $3,000 if the M850 is any indication. But yeah people will buy it.

Ya I noticed that pricing and found it quite odd since it would be the first departure of any GC model being cheaper than the coupe. Just makes no sense to me.

M6 GC was $4k more than the coupe.

The current 4 series coupe is $44,950 and the 4GC is $44,750

Loved my M6 GC but this M8 GC might be priced a little high for what it offers / will offer. Look forward to seeing the unveil. My feeling is they stop the 8 series line up after this run.

BMW already said this is the last production for the coupe. They said the Gran Coupe will most likely stay.

Thanks phoenixbmwlife I missed that one. So as well as a great car, I'm also potentially (with the stars in the north and the wind from the west) driving an appreciating collectors edition 8 coupe

Yes this is what I believe as well. I posted this in the thread about BMW dropping models. The M8 coupe should hold the most value after because they will most likely be less of these sold worldwide in this 8 series run. But yeah the M850i coupe should also hold its value which is so good to know.

For what it's worth I just saw a full camo'd M8 GC here in LA. That is a VERY large car. Seeing it on the road it just seemed too big to me.

I was told by my local dealer that M850i GC will arrive in November / December 2019 time frame. M8 GC will arrive in Spring 2020 (but not confirmed).
