Literally same! I keep trying to tell myself they made it more like the concept but it just looks FAT and unnecessary! The carbon/black inserts is what ruins it... takes away from the lines of the car!

I totally agree. I don't know what they were thinking with those carbon inserts. But I think they decided to calm down the aggressive design of the concept out of fear it won't sell well as the average M8 owner may not like it, but I think nothing can be further from the truth.

If they kept it looking closer to the concept more people will have bought it in my opinion.
