Neck warmer pad

My wife is barely 5 ft tall, she complains that the back of her head hits the hard plastic back of the neck warmer on my M8 seat. Besides getting her a booster seat, any other solutions as to a good pad cover?
I'm in hot Houston, so barely ever use the neck warmer...
Thanks,

Is it less "uncomforrtable" is she were to raise the headrest using the button on the side of the seat (see button #5...simply push the button/switch upward)?

Since her head is hitting the hard plastic part...if she raises the headrest a bit...she may be able to move it higher up and out of the way of touching the back of her head.
