I installed mine a week ago and they don’t feel any different than my originals but barely any dust and no squeak. 🙌🏽🙌🏽

Have had mine installed for like 6 weeks or so now and no squeak and very little dust. Can't tell any difference with braking from the stock pads. Really enjoying them. Hated the squeak.

If i recall the fronts swap out pretty easy without having to remove the caliper right? Rears I think the caliper has to come off. Does this sound right? Have any of you diy'd this?

Ive done brake jobs before but only on my ram 1500

Also- do folks still recommend a brake fluid purge on these cars?

It is the same as doing brakes except if you do it early you are just pulling caliper off take pads out, sensors out of pads, probably compress the piston slightly put new pads on, sensor in new pad and go. The rear has the electric parking brake that needs to be turned all the way out and put back on but front and rear the same other wise. Not a hard or time consuming job if you have tools to do so.

When fluid starts getting dark a purge is needed, typically I see 3-4 years before, depending on if there are track days or not.

Has anyone used the IS1500 and IS2000? Trying to decide Wich ones would be best.. I do drive aggressive, so there's that.. also do I need to buy new break wear sensors with the pads? Car has 1100 miles on it.

No sensors needed with that low mileage.

Just installed the IS1500's on my M850i, I love them no dust, plenty of braking power, don't notice anything different than stock

This is looking amazing Vic. Where did you get the yellow DRL's? I can't find any for my LCI M5 headlights.

Thanks bro!!

I got them at r33_RGSport but I dont think they are available yet for the M5 as that car uses a different board.

Check with him as he is a well known vendor here (Ben)

If you got aftermarket wheels, or if you really care about your wheels’ appearance and condition, these pads are a must. May be pricey but worth it in the long run

Ben is in Japan for Spring break. He will be doing my pads as well.
Track events chewed up my oem pads and now every time I drive the wheels turn black.

I wish his shop was closer to OC. He did the suspension on my i4 and some stereo stuff on my e46 m3. Really good guy.

Agree but its worth the slight drive for the service, product, and price IMHO.

I even had him do the KW on my GTS along with the Soul Cats... he has Porsche skills too. And his pricing on my Tesla Plaid wheels was the best out there. Its pretty much a homerun there except, as you mentioned, logistics at times.
