My 2021 ID starting to feel like an old iphone.

Glass controls for the m8, not sure why bmw only allows for this on the regular 8

Some trunk hooks would be nice, my m3 has left and right side hooks and this helps with carrying bags full of liquir and such

But overall very happy with this ride, not sure what I’d do when my lease is up, can’t find anything right now that I’d like to replace it with. Maybe I’ll pull a Vic55 and grab a two door
Hey bro its been a minute, didnt you get a 992 GTS?

I might buy my first EV when I eventually replace my 8

I plan to always keep an ICE sports/supercar in my garage, so having an EV as a daily should be fine, as I can always drive my sports car when I’m in the mood for something more visceral and loud.

1. Fog Light, definitely would've looked real nice on the M8/M850
2. The thigh support on the front seat to be powered control like always been with all X5/X6, 5, 6, and 7 series. I'm chucked that the 8-series is manual like a 3-series or 4-series!!!!

At first some of these things don't really matter.
Then after owing it a while I realize these things would have been nice. Anyway here's my own personal list is as follows. What's yours?

Some of these would obviously take a re-design. Just dreaming is all. I guess this would be my dream M8 Competition.

1: A small pocket with a door storage in left knee area of dash. Like
many lesser BMW's have. Looks like room to do it.
2: Massaging seats...grrr
3: Fog lights
4: A real spare tire and not a crap green goo kit.
5: Larger deeper center console.
6: Front end lift button for raising the front end for driveways etc.
7: 2 more front cup holders....somewhere
8: Fold down grocery bag holders in the trunk, like other BMW's have.
9: More tie down points in trunk.
10:More lighting in the trunk.
11:Ceiling grab handles for getting in and out up front too.
12:Sync button for AC system.
13:A drivers side mirror reversing tilt down feature like on passenger
side
14:More choices on seating in the front. Only 2 choices currently.
15:Sunroof....even with the carbon roof...figure it out BMW !

So what do wish you had that you don't have. I'm sure I missed a few.

A softer comfort suspension. It’s the one thing I don’t like.

The RS e-tron GT was a smoother ride. That’s about all the Audi was better at, but it rode nicer than the M8.

Hope you’re doing well bro. Yeah pretty happy with the 992 - not as practical as the m8 which I consider my daily as I need the trunk space for work. Was thinking bout that new m5 if the timing works - I’ll prolly just kick this can down the road for a few months and extend the lease.

You can always tune your 992 to get even more power- I have the M Engineering tune and the GTS is every bit as fast as the M8. Plus the open valve set up with the tune gives you that amazing flat six sound thru ALL the rpm ranges.

Ive done some heavier exhaust mods though and the car just downright rowdy.

I understand the practical comment but in reality the M8 isnt all too practical itself (cpe)
