The Lexus looks and sounds better but falls behind when it comes to tech and comfort. The only car in this segment that's better than the 8 series IMHO is the new Panamera based BCGT - but the 8 series is almost as good for a whole lot less $$$.

Merc is coming up with a direct competitor to this car with the R232 SL. It'll be lighter with an AMG GT platform and have 4 seats to give the 8 a run for its money.
I would take a nicely equipped 911 all day over this M8.

The big companies usually have more than 12% "Flottenrabatt".

Combined with other discounts I think 18-20% are normal, 25% could be hard (if you don't have the big "Flottenrabatt" from UBS, CS, Allianz Suisse etc.), but you never know.
You know how it goes...

~15% Flottenrabatt + 5% CHF rabatt + 3% special rabatt +...

Bottom line, the biggest discount I have seen with my own eyes, for self configured car was 30%. But this was quite special, and I heard you cannot get more than that, this is reserved for some special clients etc.

As I said, 23% is something realistic and what many customers get.
For my current car I got 20% (I don't work in any of the mentioned firms), for the next one, I'm aiming for 23% and I will not except anything less than that.

I will try my best. With the swiss premium discount it will be fine.
The other 8er buyers got also huge discounts.
Are you also interested in one? We can start a bulk order
