Saw a Dravit one at a local dealer last week. Looked a lot like Champagne Quartz.

Dravit and 813 wheels for me. All the M Performance parts and thats it.... assuming I would be wild enough to spend this $$ on a new M again

That's literally the least desirable color for both the F80 and F82.

My father owned an Imperial Blue Metallic 5er and then a Carbon Black 5er. I had Black Sapphire Metallic at the same time. Iíd say that Carbon Black is okay but pales in comparison to the pop and metallic nature of Imperial or Tanzanite Blue. I class Carbon Black with the darkest blues because itís really Navy in most light. We both agree Imperial Blue or Tanzanite are better if you want blue, and BSM is better if you want real black. Consider that Carbon Black is a 2001 if not earlier paint formulation. It lacks the fancier xirallic particles, pearl effect, etc that the newer paints have.

Maybe. Itís a good color on its own but maybe not the best choice for M3 and M4 based on the lines. It looks awesome on the M2.

I kinda of like those 813 wheels. I personally would most likely throw a set of HREs on there but I could see the 813 looking pretty sharp on there. Just thinking about cleaning those 813s, yikes, pretty time consuming

last BMW wheels I liked AT ALL are 763m, so whatever oem set is cheapest for me cause they're coming right off.
also, how come BMW is so stingy with Space Gray?

It seems like BMW offers a small choice of colors and leaves the rest for the "Individual" versions..

I agree. 763m are the best. Thats why I have them on my M2. For the M8 I'd prefer them in the following dimensions: 20 inch front, 21 inch rear.

MOTEGI ROT METALLIC (C3K) - doesn't quite count eh? They went orange again. It looks like SO... (Sakhir orange ) and the other SO.. (sunset orange ).

I like to bang on BMW about eliminating red also, particularly on their sportiest models, but they have also brought out Toronto Red recently on the X3M and X4M. I hope it will somehow find it's way toward G8x M3, M4 and M2 sometime before the end of ICE.

They also have brought out San Francisco Red ( replacement for Melbourne red ?) but of course it's only on the Z4 and there isn't an M..

The wheel in the picture is a 20 and that's what's on the rear of my car, 19 in the front. Regarding the M8, I agree with you aesthetically on 20/21 for that car. Unfortunately where I live I need more sidewall than that because of rubbish roads so I'd be likely to stay with 19/20.
