It can be purchased through Alpina. It's 51mm, the size of a wheel hub cover/hubcap; NOT the roughly 82mm size of the hood or trunk roundel on the 8-series. AFAIK Alpina does not sell a replacement for those.

Believe it or not that's actually a close up pic that I took of the Alpina plaque on the cup holder cover of my XB7!

Where can you buy replacement Alpina parts? Example, the rear diffuser? I’ve plugged in several different Alpina VINS on getbmwparts.com and all say invalid VIN

FYI My B8 went to "At the Port" on 10/11/22. It spent roughly 7 weeks in "Ready for Transport". Hopefully it finds a ship before Halloween...

What do you guys think about this used B8? Clean Carfax, went to take a look at it - saw nothing suspicious (flooding damage etc.).

Seems like a really clean car from the pics. Low miles and the price is reasonable. Downside for me is the Carbon Roof option as I'd rather have the sunroof. This can be your ticket into the 200+mph club.

A bit annoying that it’s not green or blue. Who buys a black Alpina ?

Agreed. Both the Alpina Blue & Green have such depth and luster. Definitely on par or better quality/thickness than the $5K Individual colors BMW offers.

A friend of mine has a midwest daily driven 2015 B6 GC that has over 65k miles and the Alpina Green paint is still holding up nicely.

Do your due diligence with BMW of Tampa.

I almost bought a 850 vert from them they had advertised as "BMW Certified," could never produce anything in writing to justify as much. Turns out even though they had "BMW CERTIFIED" all over the ads for it, the car was absolutely not and never would be. Had a series of interior issues they never showed me on a facetime call, only saw when they renewed the online listing pics. They would have had me fly down there, take one look at it and refuse to buy it, instead of just being honest out front.

Mine will be skyscraper. Some of us are just not a fan of the bright Alpina colors.

You don't see many Alpinas let alone a used one. Did you buy it??

So far we couldn't agree on the terms. I'm paying cash and have no interest in their leasing/financing. I'm still trying...

fwiw, I "pay cash" as well, however financing a very small amount for a very short period gives you $1500 from BMWFS in exchange for a few bucks of interest. Just finance $10k for 5 years and then pay off the loan after three months. Easy-peazy.

Good play. Did this myself on the 850i.

There are a couple of more demands (I want them to full PPF the car, ceramic coat the wheels etc.). I’ll wait. I’m fairly certain that they are going to call me.

Sure. I assumed there was more than $1500 keeping you apart. I negotiate my cash deal and then work the additional BMWFS $1500 credit when I sit down with the finance guy to do the paperwork.
