Does Anyone Know The Dimensions Of The Trunk In The M850i?

I am seriously looking at buying one, but cannot find the trunk dimensions anywhere. I need width, length and height in inches. It has to be able to store up to three shotguns I use for skeet, trap and sporting clays. The trap gun is longest at 51 inches.

In my current vehicle, it fits on the angle.

Any help with the actual dimensions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Not an M850 but my shotguns do not fit in any angle in my M8. I think it was only 43-46" last time I tried. However with rear seat down I have zero issue at that point.

I have a M850 GC. Trunk is 32" wide, 42" deep. 17" tall at the back seat, mostly 19" tall the rest of the way. The diagonal runs right at 52".

Tenac only has a tiny vert.

I don't have dimensions but my Winchester 12ga pump fits at an angle with plenty of room. You shouldn't any problems.

And a much improved potential for humanoids in the back seat. And even more shopping bags.

Happy wife. Happy life.

(At least that's what I had been told.)

Thanks for that info. Any idea whether there is a difference between an M850 Gran Coupe trunk and the standard model?

I knew the rear seats down are an option, but driving around in the course of a day with a shotgun showing openly visible in the car will lead to a smashed window and no shotgun pretty quickly, unfortunately. Even if you covered it, the length would likely give it away.

Thanks, it should "just" fit on the diagonal.

Reasons to own an M850:

They are sexy cars.
They are fast.
They are exceptional cross-continent cruisers.
They are fun to drive.
They are large, luxurious and sporty.
They sound great stock.

And, oh yeah. My shotgun fits in the trunk.
🤣🤣🤣

That's gotta be a first on this forum.

The M850 can do it all.

(And I don't know if the GC trunk is bigger than the coupe's. I would suspect it is.)
