Take it for what it's worth but Ash Grain Grey Metallic is too light and the pictures on the BMW website does not do it justice in any what way.. My money with your build would be on Ash Black Silver Wood.

I had that selected for my first M850i build with Dravit Grey as the exterior. That build was FUBAR'd by BMW so the second expedited order switch to CF as only the 840i's and M8's get Ash Black Silver Wood as an interior trim option. My CA fought a losing battle to get it on the M850i so hence the CF.

For what's worth for red and silver on the pallette the silver needs to be dark. Or vice versa. The problem being Sakhir just like Fiona are not dark enough to "handle" the light gray. I ran to the hills once I saw it in real life with Fiona on my first failed build. It is a small section within the cockpit and won't "pop" anything but rather distract from the rest of the space.

Thanks, I still like it. It’s a small area and glad it’s different as most are CF. My 19 M850 has the woven bright aluminum trim and it really pops, looks good even with FR. It may all be a moot point if they can’t change it.

So the 25 M5 gets ~100+ more hp (and much heavier) than the 25 M8 wtf? Geez couldn't they have at least given the M8 a ~50hp bump to stay somewhat competitive? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it's not going PHEV but still. I do like the 48V hybrid assist setup though, that could have easily given the 8 the bump it needs while helping with the epa stuff.

No changes for 2025. I ordered a 25 M8GC. It’s now sitting in Bremerhaven (since last Friday) waiting for a ship to Galveston, TX. My sales guy said they just extended the MY 25 for 20 months with no changes from the ‘24 until the next reincarnation of the 8 series materializes in whatever form that takes

The upcoming M5 makes the M8 look bad in my opinion just based on its specs.
