Observation and potential solution. We installed a phone cradle on the left side of the steering wheel suction to the windshield. This put the phone farther away from the screen and was ideal for not blocking controls, screen, or road. We observed that in this position AA would disconnect and reconnect periodically with no rhyme or reason. We move the phone to a cupholder and it has been solid for several weeks. Moved it back to the cradle and periodic disconnect returned.

Any good accesable phone mount solutions appreciated, not a fan of the charging location, phone too big, and hard to get in and out with drinks in cupholders.
