I thought I would start a thread with pics of our 8 series with other great rides out there in the car community!!!!

I will get us kicked off here a bit. Below is the day before our drive up back roads to Wickenburg by the Toyota proving grounds. Disclaimer it was raining both days and our video and photo guys backed out as well as about 5 others so only 5 of us went and we didn't take ANY pictures of the drive just the one before the drive. Road did not allow for pull offs or anything very tight mountain roads.

First set of pics are at my place doing brakes on the M3 and fluid flush before the big day. Cermaic coated the wheels so he left it over night. Ignore my dirty garage. Making sure we are all ready to drive at speed limit.

The last pic is day of drive meeting at the gas station and that 620 LT was actually owned by the great Eddie Van Halen.

Some interesting things regarding the 60mile drive:
In attendance last minute we decide to go anyway, My M8, M3, I4, RS5, 1986? Porsche turbo.
Drive rough roads not for faint of heart.
Fun stuff, Porsche sunroof decided to attempt to leave the car... lol Its battery died so we had to jump every restart and M3 front splitter met a cattle guard. All in all it was great fun as a group.
Interesting info with the I4 and kinda sealed what type of electric I would buy if I do buy one.... So it kept up just fine and driver was having a blast, but they started full charge at 220range drove 60miles and ended up with just at 90miles left... So their drive back was eco mode... lol Keep in mind about 30miles of the drive was actually spirited the rest was highway getting there. Makes me think a lot about those sportier electrics coming out and what you can actually do with them.

Looks like fun even if it was raining, needles to say you probably did not enjoy any down time (Top Down)? Ive often said that about the claimed range on these EV cars. If you drive like you guys did, that range is diminished greatly. But that's another subject...

I can't wait to be "back in the lower 48" in April to join in, in this kind of fun!

Love that plate! Mine's V8 XTC that the AZ DMV has tried to take back thanks to ecstasy being a drug. Thankfully have won that battle and the M850i's replacement will get it as well but that rules out any turbo 6 cylinder. 👍

Well this definately falls with the "Other" category. But wanted to share what I got today.
Titanium door latch screws. No body will even notice these at any of the groups so bragging here! lol

Another cars and coffee, the group is growing. We are already out looking for a coffee shop to host a larger group.

And I know I'm missing some they all couldn't park in same area sadly. Some couldn't make it as well. I really enjoy the gent's rolling the STO, MC, and Ferrari out for such a small event.
