I heard that “12mm front and 5mm rear” was best for stock ride height on the M8.

I’m also needing advice for an M8 Competition Coupe

Im going to run 12 rear and 15 up front.

Not lowered yet but planning to soon.

Vic55 put 18 front and 12 out back with Michelin tires.

I dont see why they would look wrong not lowered with spacers.

Id do the same--- 18F and 12R.

Without the drop the ride height will be exposed so you want the wheels still out but not past where a fender would be. Remember when you lower a car, the wheels camber in slightly so with 18/12 it should line up nicely vertically top to bottom and front to rear.

Looks great Vic. How is the ride? Softer, stiffer, same as stock?

On my Guilia QV I went with H&R and I felt that they were softer than factory springs which I didn't like at all.

KW HAS has incredible spring rates on the GC- they really soak up the bumps and uneven areas on the road. Its one of the best set ups with the OEM dampers Ive seen for BMW pre my G80 M3's.

Im not a fan of H&R for BMW and its damper connections.

A few times- no issues, the car does not rub as it cambers on flex (tested)

I have H&R spacers 12mm front and 15mm back on M850i. When wet, rear side gets more dirty when compared to the stock.

Sorry for the bad angle, don’t have better pic.

Lol, yeah M850 245f 275r so not too much bigger. Figured the bump up in size would look better and feel better plus with the KW HAS the stance will look how it should have come.

Can we run 285/35 in the front on a H&R spring? Going with 295/35 rear?

I’m lowered on KW HAS and have 15mm all around. I agree with Vic55 that 18mm in front would be a better fit for a flush look.
