I was offered $1482/month (includes 7.5% tax) with $1599 lease protection included on a $162K MRSP M8 Competition Coupe today. $33K discount off MRSP including loyalty. This was on a 36/10 lease with 89K residual and 0.0014 money factor. $0 cash down and First payment plus acquisition at drive off.
Good deal or better deals to be had on the Coupe this month? |

This is the lowest lease I have seen.
I am at 1640 inc 9.25 tax with full maintenance package. Just drive offs. I got a great deal and one of the lowest but car was purchased on dec last year Money factors dropped from when I purchased. Don’t think you will get much more than this I love the car. You will not be disappointed Quote:

Looks like a 18.5% discount w/o loyalty and lightly marked-up MF. Should be at 0.00118 Think you can do better but it depends how much you love the build. The car is not expensive and sometimes the config take priority over the lowest price... |

At some point if we want the car we just to sign and drive cause if we nickel and dime further that "other" person will come and grab it. 992's are going this way now- pre covid the max was 5-6% off and then right at the start one could get from 8-9% off but then dealers realized they wont get any more cars till August or even later. Demand superseded supply and boom the 992's were selling back at the 5% and lower. Now do I see this with the M8; not so much but if you can get 20% off plus a tick of flagship it might be a good thing. In reality they only have 11% at triple net plus flagship so they are taking a "digger" and holding some of the flag. It has to be a 2019 production car (still a MY2020).

I did say if it's the right build, that is the priority The crazy thing is that we are incredibly spoiled with unheard of discounts on such a newly released car. BMW just messed up the launch that left so many dealers with expensive and slow moving inventory. I remember getting our newly released E63s ED.1 in late 2017. Felt like a crazy good deal to get some discount while that car wasn't available in all parts of the country. That said, apart from different regional supply/demand differences I don't see the discounts on the remaining 2020 M8's going away or dropping dramatically. Customers will not differentiate between a late 19 and early 20 build or if one is HEI or not. It's a 2020 and eventually will sit in the same showroom with 21 models. |

I remember when I got my Ed1 E63S--- I think was one of the first to get it released from the ports with the certification snafus; I only got a smaller discount compared to my normal triple net. My factory guy even said- "dont ask cause you wont get it and I saved you an extra car" I guess first kid on the block pays all the juice

Am curious to see how BMW is trying to recover it's pricing/discounts on the 2021's. Seems difficult to come back from 15%-20% off with no changes to their cars specs. |

Even the M5 after a month or so was going on firesales back in q3 and q4 of 2018. The 2019's and then 2020's all followed suit with triple cut backs plus loyalty plus tiny little MF's. BMW AG loves its captive cause its particpating so much in its ability to lease these cars. Id bet the AG is guaranteeing multiple points on the majority of the cars's residuals.

Yeah no one will early deal on a Turbo S (992)---- its getting rave performance reviews and will be a street crusher trapping higher 130's in the low 10's stock.

There are BMW dealerships that are listing substantially discounted M8's with as few as 2 miles as "used". What angle are they working?

Not sure when the flagship money is paid out but it’s a common practice to punch the cars to grab incentives and hit sales targets.
Then those cars are sold as used cars. That said, we have an appointment to check on the AC and our SA said that they have tons of 8 series loaners (coupe, cab, GC). His words were “they must have bought too many and turned them into loaners”. As in 43 of them... |
