How to release the hand brake and put the vehicle in the neutral? Cannot start the engine

I've tried do the steps as suggested per manual, so it does engage into emergency N and from the sound I can hear it does release hand brake, but the problems is after 2-3 seconds it engages back to P… is it because the vehicle didn't move it went back to P or something else

That's interesting it shouldn't go back to P for about 30mins, Is it battery is dead?

Sometimes a battery has just enough to trick the system so it might be easier to hookup a battery pack and get it started or moved. A tow truck drive told me that trick.
