BMW Connected App Remote 3D View

Just an FYI, spoke with the BMW USA genius hotline, and was informed there is a known issue of this not working from a mobile app even after the the two requirements have been met in the vehicle's main screen. BMW is working on a fix but he suggested I and others should report it to BMW Assist at 888-333-6118.

Didn't realize there was already another thread on this, can a mod pls merge this into the other as i cannot delete. Thx

Thanks, mine keeps asking me to perform the two steps even though they were successfully completed.

Double check your bmw logon. I had to use my email account to work. Annoying as it says welcome noushyk@... try logging out then back in as well

thx, using my email acct as well and did the log out/in with the genius guy but no luck. Weird some work and others don't.

When I first got our X5 a year ago it did not work. Took about three months. The x3m worked the same month. The m8 worked after I followed the instructions. Wonder if the initial account takes BMW a while to setup?

Possibly but the genius guy said it;s a current known issue with no fix as of yet. I will call BMW assist on Monday as he suggested and report back.

Idk about you guys it always work for me every timeyiukk need to delete the app re download and try again.

Mine works on all three cars just tested. Ignore the bad pics we have terrible fog tonight.
