Unfortunately I don't have the printouts. I've been on dynos so much in the last 25 years they don't mean much to me. Dynos are for tuning to me. The numbers you show on a track or dragy is real world. Have you done either? Curious what your car will or has done. Half mile I hit over 163 .

I do road course tracks, but not drag strips. I bought a Draggy and haven’t played with it much on the street. I have not been to a track this season.

This graph was after the stage 1 tune, we then added racing cat and bigger pipes but the back box is still standard at the moment (I’m still working out which one to get so it goes with the styling when I do that). Now getting 679BHP and 929Nm (whatever that is in lbft) but I also had the gearbox remapped and that’s made a world of difference on the launch, has probably saved nearly half a second on initial hook-up and the gear change between 1 and 2 which is where the time saving really is. 1/4m it’s doing 10.8 but I know there’s better to come! Timing is from Santa Pod in the UK, I don’t have a device but do use the race timer app which is pretty good (screenshot below).

Making great power.

When you say, ‘racing cat’, do you mean both primary and secondary are free flowing or 200 cel (or?) primary and catless secondary?

I wish I could answer that… but I’m afraid you’ve passed my level of knowledge of exhaust upgrades - my understanding is that cat and opf are replaced with higher flow-rate racing spec and the engine ECU is then programmed to take advantage of reduced back pressure. In fairness though, that was someone else’s problem, I just paid the bill and enjoy the results 😋

Always up for an education though. I can certainly ask any questions, I’m down there again in early July!!

Well in the states anything that is empty cats is always marked Race Use Only. I would guess in the EU anything not OEM would be marked Race Use Only. But you are correct that tune will really bring out the power and remove any ECM lights due to oxygen sensors not reporting back or not reporting high enough readings. I like your style my friend, cash and go!!!! I wish I was like that, bc I will spend a year researching and talking before buying when I could have found a trusted shop and said take my money now. lol

Hey guys this is my car just got
My 2019 m850i x drive is like to
Call it a beautiful monster !!!!
It’s my baby I’m absolutely in love with it
It has 29K miles it’s under cpo warranty.

I also listed a pic of it !!!!

I’ve been doing some research
On stage 1 tune at carbahn in
San Jose ca I live 30 miles from them
It is Steve Dinans shop and there
Stage 1 tune is claiming 707 Horse power
And 711 pounds of torque sounds
Amazing 😎

Theses are my ?
Is the numbers correct has any 1 done this
Tune to there bmw M850i ???
Also after Tune what rpm’s
Will the vehicle launch from ?
Also is it at least a second faster
In the quarter miles

Note I only plan on putting about
10K miles max in the next 6 years
And only taking it to the track twice
A year and gonna be a weekend Garage car

Also if you no any other tune company’s
That would be good to no as well
I trust Steve dinan but I’m open
To hearing options

Looking forward on hearing your
Guys opinion also please any help
Will help me trying to get as much
Info as possible on tunes thanks

I've only seen 1 guy do that tune . Best out of a couple runs was 11.38@124. so it definitely gives some power. So probably about 600whp is my guess. He seems happy . 😊

I think the good thing about Dinan tuned is they supposedly cover warranty if something happens due to the tune?? However I did a search when I thought about doing the same nd seen where individuals had issues getting them to cover that warranty.
I personally went with a real tune done on my car on a Dyno. Then fine tuned it using datalogs.
