M8 Comp feature question

Hey guys, I've done some googling but have been seeing mixed answers on whether or not the M8 competition has massage seats so I figured I should ask people who actually own them!

I recently test drove a AMG GT63s and it had heated and cooled massage seats which felt awesome, unfortunately the car sold and I am back at the drawing board looking at M8 comps and other gt63's. The m8c is a little more affordable so if it also has those massage seats that's a huge win in my book as that's a feature I really wanted to have in a vehicle of mine for once.

They do not. The M5 does.

Mine certainly doesn't, and I don't recall anyone saying they have it on an M8 they own (certainly not in the couple of years I've had mine).

Categorically no; not available as an option. 😒

Just to update for what I posted the other day .
The 8 series does NOT come with massage seats . I visually inspected an M8 and X5 M competition. The seats on the x5 has thicker seats than the M8 , the reason I guess is that the motors needed for the massage features need nm more space , this would be terrible for the M8 coupe. .
I hope I don't get this wrong .

M8 does not have massaging seats. It should though for the price of it. A real let down imo by BMW. They put it in lesser models but not our cars.
Others here have also spoken like this too.
My next vehicle (whatever brand) will have them or it's a no sale for me.

Just my opinion, but I’ve had them in a couple vehicles and found I never used them. My X5 has them, and between my wife and myself, they rarely get used. My kids use them the most when they get to ride in the front seat - more a novelty for them.

What he said exactly. I have had them in my last 3 vehicles and so rarely used them I usually forget I have them until buying a replacement. Don't care anymore now even though initial thought is that I'm missing out on something.

My M8 not having cooled seats however is a bummer

I wish my M8 had cooled seats that actually get cooled - probably the worse I’ve had in a vehicle ever. At least the air conditioning is better vs prior BMWs.

Not to be pedantic, but they only offer ‘ventilated’ seats… which is partly why you can have that and heat turned on at the same time. In that regard, they are effective especially if you’re already sweaty.

That said, they’re not the strongest ventilated seats I’ve ever had—that honor falls to my wife’s 2018 Ford Explorer. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I guess your meaning seats cooled with actual AC. I bet that would be helpful in Houston. We don't so much need that here in the great white north.
The AC in my car works very well. Better than my other 2 vehicles.
I've never had massaging seats or even sat in one, but they sound good to me.

My M5s all had massage seats as does my wife’s ‘22 X5–I’d give them a solid ‘meh’. You can feel it but it’s hardly a massage. I’d say the best feeling they give you is bragging rights. 🤪

I would swap the "meh" of the massaging seats for more cushion in a heartbeat. My boney ass did not like F90 seats.

I’ll pile on. Had them in 3 cars. Used them as a cool gimmick for a week. No longer car.

I have the M8 - you won’t care either, trust me.

I love mine. They put cool air from car to my backside. Here in Hawaii air movement is important. I don't see what the problem is.
