Well I'm ending the day by saying the W13 looks like a total disaster from one end to the other, like last years 11 that been run over by a juggernaut and that's being kind

It looks meh, I mean if it works it works I guess. Car ran more stable on day 2, no more over steering issues and a reduced number of lock ups but still needs work to be fully dialed in. I think porpoising is a bit better with the stiffening stays.

Glad they aren't getting sea sick. Charlie said it feels like turbulence in an airplane.

RB18 upgrades, there was only 1 picture I could find:

New side pods that are more sculpted and the floor looks more refined. It is very fast too, so that is impressive. But at this moment I haven't seen much because it was in the garage for nearly 1hr so perez missed alot of running.

Are Merc in trouble? I doubt if but if they're leaving it to the last session then they are on borrowed time.

Thanks.

Yeah me too, I read the 18 has a new more scuplted floor. I can't really see it though because there aren't many pictures yet.

Yeah it would make sense for merc to try a new suspension with all the crazy bouncing.

Maybe they are having a difficult time dialing the car. The w12 took a lot of time to dial in, it even took a few races to get it right. So who knows. These regulations do have difficult cars thats for sure.

It'll be seen if its any change with Russell in the car for the last session. haas has an extra 3 hours after the session stops,mcL has all sorts of probs with over heating and brake trouble and of course Ricciardo has had a positive test for covid. Zhou impressed.

Max has said HAM is up to his old tricks by saying that the 13 won't be competitive for a few races because of set up problems as Merc are well known for their sandbagging.

There was a time when the Italian Racing Red colors were removed from the Ferrari F1 cars..

"A Tale of Blue and White
It was the year 1964 and only two races remained on the calendar. Ferrari’s John Surtees was involved in a championship fight. But team owner Enzo Ferrari was involved in a bigger tussle.
Ferrari wanted 250 LM be homologated for racing as a Group 3 Grand Touring Car. However in April 1964 the FIA refused to do so as Ferrari had built considerably fewer than the required 100 unit. To be considered as a production car it was necessary to produce 100 units for a car .
If that drew Enzo’s anger, the ACI’s ( Italy’s national motorsport body) decision to not back Ferrari in the argument sent him into frenzy.
He handed in his competitor’s licence, and promised never to race in red again. Visually at least, Enzo was severing the ties between Ferrari and Italy.
Officially the US Grand Prix did not have any works Ferraris. Instead John Surtees and Lorenzo Bandini entered under a new banner: the North American Racing Team. The cars beneath the blue and white of USA were essentially the same Ferrari 158."
