Heated Armrest(s) and Console Lid(s)

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
My 2020 8501 GC has heated steering wheel, front door armrest(s) and center console lid(s). The weather has turned colder for the first time since I have had the car. The heated steering wheel works great, but it appears that just the driver's side front door armrest and the 1/2 console lid on the driver's side heats up, not the passenger side of either. Is this correct?

I'm solo literally 98% of the time in my 2020 M850i coupe so I have the climate control rule settings to heat the driver seat at 55 degrees and cool at 68 (highest setting and a somewhat of a joke here in Phoenix). So I've never really paid attention to the passenger side as the climate control settings does not cover it. However, there is an overall setting within the climate control that allows you to set the driver and passenger heated armrests on/off (assuming based on whether the seats themselves are set to heat).

The passenger side will heat up when the passenger seat heat button is pressed.

Thanks for the tip. I hadn't dug very deeply into the issue yet. Felt pretty sure that it was just something I wasn't doing properly!

Glad to help! Nice to see another Olds guy. I've got a '72 Cutlass Supreme Convertible that I need to restore this winter (hopefully).

If the passenger seat still does not heat the armrests check the setting I mentioned. I do not believe I changed anything for it from default so the "tick" box should be checked for "Heat armrests with seat" for both the Driver and Front passenger.
