Agreed. Due to center of gravity, i.e., more of us here in the US we need to get Ozzie8 up here for a meet and greet. In fact for 2021 we should plan an 8-series forum meet and greet period. We can pick a centralized location and drive (hopefully) or just fly to get us all there.

Now that literally made me LOL. I'd strive to keep my decorum in check (as I always do in my professional life) but visiting their software development center may be my biggest challenge yet in nearly a 30-year career. Of course it will also flip the dime most likely to everyone flying into Madurai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, etc. but I'm good to go as still have 6 years left on my India visa.

Yes but that's located in Almaty (Kazakhstan). I would much rather come to the US!

How did you find out that BMW's software development center is in Almaty? Just checked and limeypride is going to have to wait some time for his few minutes as Kazakhstan has suspended (as of April 2020) the rules that would allow US tourists without a Visa to visit. In fact they now require a tourist visa but those have been suspended as well. With any luck that will all be lifted in 2021 once COVID-19 is hopefully behind us and both Limeypride and I can make a visit to give them an ear full of constructive feedback.
