I hope this is an early April Fools joke! That front and rear is horrid.

That back-end looks terrible as pictured. I'm choosing to believe it was grotesquely fish-eyed by a bad smartphone camera. Although the lines are different on the rear of the concept, I'd expect the general contours of the production car to match pretty closely, if the 4 series concept and subsequent production model is anything to go by.

Bangle certainly was not the man either, when you doubt, just look once more on how the E65 mutant baby came to live. But I guess the executive committee of BMW is still traumatised by that experience and still suffers from cognitive dissonance.
They also see some weird turds being presented on the board meetings as the new announced halo cars, but don't translate their revulsion to actions... yet. For too many years now. |

I'm seriously disgusted at this and genuinely terrified of what they're doing to do with the next 3 series/ M variants.
BMW's design language is pointing in the wrong direction. And this is from a guy who grew up with the old 8 series pics on his bedroom wall. What a fucking shame for this to be its successor, especially given the concepts gorgeous body lines. |

When this is actual dash, I'am confused. It seems to abandon the dash "light" version we first saw in the G11 and G30 now. I liked it since it was more floating and less massive. Now we're going back to the old school then with massive centre console?

I was watching Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee Christoph Waltz 1957 BMW 507 Series II. BMW does crazy things.
