No it wasn't me but rather an OP a year or so back. Believe now in hindsight he changed the wheels as well plus tire size and ended up with a front axle issue BMW called foul on.

Larger Tires On M8 without issues

If you want a wider tire for better traction you can fit a 315/30/20 on the factory rear wheel without any issues. Th rim is 10.5 in line with the tire manufacturer rim specs and the tire tucks neatly under the fender wheel so no issues of rubbing on rear compression. The factory differential between the 275 front and 285 rear is.3 while running this rear tire with the factory 275 front the differential is only .1 so no issues with the XDrive system
