As for the 17hp you can get WAY more than that (like 100hp+) with a piggy back tune for $700
An M8 and an M8 Competition both make the same power when tuned. No internal engine differences.

The competition exhaust is only different in the mid-pipe and the tip size/color. You can replace the mid-pipe with the factory part for around $1200 if you want to stay "OEM" and paint the exhaust tips gloss black but why not just spend that on an aftermarket exhaust as you are still way under $13,000!

Same with the wheels, buy the BMW Comp wheels online (for a fraction of the price of a dealership) or buy some better looking aftermarket ones, whatever makes you happy.

Seatbelts have the tri color going down them, again you can replace with an OEM part, but the labor to replace the belts will probably cost more than the belts lol.

The only thing you really need to have in the non comp is the upgraded leather package ($3500 option) as you won't be able to do that aftermarket.

There was a similar discussion on the M5 forum a few years back. Ultimately, folks decided all the non-Comp model needed was one thing:

Thank you for the detail. When it comes to massaging seats I could care less but then again I've never had one so my mileage may vary. That said if it was an option I'd pass but my wife would talk me into it no differently than she did on the crystal gear shift on the M850i. That aside it will come down to two factors, i.e., full leather and B&W audio as to whether I end up with a M8 vs M8C CPO when my lease runs out or another custom order of either with aggressive negotiations on the price in play.

Typos are usually intentional when you fake something, it's sort of a rumored/folklore defense against copyright infringement and a way it might not get blown out of proportion if it starts to get unintentional traction as being real.

Something like this could be more satirical in nature in terms of defense anyway, but for people that venture into visual humor while using some real company's likeness still do it, more as a sort of artist's mark.

I saw that same as you- the correct spelling and then for obvious reasons failed to go below a certain visual to check the second spelling.

I will make that mistake over and over with no issues.
