If you have ever driven one hard you would know. POS, I had a 87
Squirrely.
How squirrely? Imagine and we have all seen it two of them chasing a nut. Never had that problem with 13 years of the three BMW's I have but did with the 15 years I had the Mustang. Cashewed it once and flipped the back end out (crunch) once. All over the road most of the time if I got into it, so I didn't.

Friend of mine had a 5.0 Mustang back in the 80's. That thing would swap ends in a heartbeat if you weren't careful. The wrecks you see these days must be due to the driver turning off the stability control, which I would hope Mustangs have. Haven't been in one since the 80's.

Hard to believe it's November. Still lots of color and temps near 70. I'll take it, but I bet we pay for this later this winter.

^^ that look in his face, haha! Awesome

Here's a departure from my usual style, playing around with some abstract concepts and deliberate motion blur.

Might have wound up darkening this one too much on my second monitor. Let me know if you guys think this one looks a little underexposed after editing (original shot was a good bit lighter).

The new lens is freaking insane and I'm loving it.

Lots of them are set up for racing. My '89 had an Auburn limited slip. Combine that with some slightly worn tires and a touch of rain and it'd snap your head off if you gave it even a little bit too much gas. I caught mine more than a couple of times after the rear was out more than 30-degrees.

Once, I was following a friend that had come in 2d in a national Formula Mazda championship (basically Formula Fords with Wankel engines), when his Mustang snapped and spun in heavy traffic on I-635 on the North side of Dallas. Miraculously, he did a 360 and continued as if nothing had happened!

Mustang and M3 mod-culture is very similar. A very high proportion of both populations seriously modify their cars. Parts are readily available. The big difference is the BMW parts cost five-times as much. Believe me, I know!

Near miss:

Near miss by David Stephens, on Flickr

Look close and there's a fingerling shad in the air, just off the GBH's right shoulder.

This was my first time using the latest version of Digital Photo Professional for Raw conversion. I'm very happy with the detail, but never figured out how to get the colors where I wanted them. The WB dropper produced a balance that was too blue for my tastes, as shown here. I got better the more times I used it.

Not at all. You could even get away with going a bit darker.

Great shots from everyone over there, I've been too busy painting for the last few days - walls and ceilings that is, not the creative sort of painting !

Good luck tomorrow with your presidential election - the rest of the world is watching and waiting !
I really don't envy you given your choice of candidates.

If you look at the full sized version of this shot, take a gander at the size of the talons for such a little raptor!
