That's terrific. Way better than my offer, congrats. Love the car but nobody likes paying more than others. ☹️

My bud is a director of sales at the local BMW dealership, so couple weeks back I had a proper - like proper, going through the hills with ESP OFF - test drive of an M8. It is good. Feels identical at cornering with my F83 M4 (Which is a hardtop convertible, so the weight is pretty much around the same) and sooo much more power and comfort. Super excited and placed an order for one. M8 Comp, Frozen blue exterior and Midrand Beige interior. Coming around Feb. Can't wait!

Thanks. Some of us take these things for granted when we have the ability to own most any BMW. It is funny that people debate which car is better and how a Porsche or Audi or MB is the better choice. These are all great vehicles and special to own. People need to appreciate that and accept it for what it is.

Looks great - congrats! I have the same interior color on my order, never seen it in real life, and now I can say that it looks fantastic.

Congrats and good luck. This is the only car I ever owned that has a g force indicator. You will need it, absolutely amazing at all speeds. The reviews you read about this car being a brute are accurate.

No discounts, full MSRP $160k. Not interested in financing for 60months so it's the lease or buy it outright. I haven't kept a car for more than 2 years in the past so I'll take a bath on this one regardless. Looking at the 24 month lease later today.
Should have the car Sunday or Monday.
I would appreciate any comments ( other than I'm nuts for doing this)
Thanks
Well I hope you’re happy with this car because it’ll be half that price in a year on a lease.

Drink much Haterade.

What difference does that make? Obviously he can afford it now therefore he got it now. if you actually read the thread the price wasn't even a concern for him he just refused to WAIT even after others were telling him of incentives and discounts. But to make yourself fell better you decided to say something negative to make YOU fell better WTF is that BS. Just be Happy ! Stating the obvious isn't your responsibility. Why dont you tell him he might have to put gas in the car too.

that is the the going rate for 2020s with the steeper discounts 11% plus available for the 2019s. Some exception to the pattern for 2020 840s.

Ordered 2020 M8 Gran Coupe Competition. 11/25

North American Standard Spec
Frozen Bluestone
Comfort seating
Driver Asst
Carbon ceramic brakes
carbon accents
B&W sound
total MSRP $166,900 ++

There was a finance incentive, which I will likely take, can't prepay for 6 months. Haggle on trade-in of my M6GC price when the car arrives. No idea when it will arrive. I tried to order the gold wheel from the First Edition and it was denied. The M2CS gold wheels could look sick with the gold calipers, but that would be a total aftermarket refinish that likely not look as good as the factory. After much wrangling I am glad i opted for the black with tan interior, it looks sick.
