X5/6M competition vs 850i in real

Hi,

Does anybody tested the performance between of these?

I know its quite non sense to match these cars each other but I am just curious.

I test drove several x5, x5m, and others along side my m850i when I bought mine. There is no comparison of a sports car to an SUV. however the x5m without air, did handle very well and almost identical to my m850i. they both acceleration and overall handling, however when turning you can't miss the size of the x5 vs m850i.
But overall "feel" of weight and power, they drove very similar. but again the m850i sticks to the road a lot better, especially at higher speeds.

Thank you.

Yes It would be just a "wet dream" to think that x5m holds in turns like the 8.

But I am happy to hear that I would enjoy some fun with x5m also

Just make sure the x5 has the dynamic handling packages and the m suspension [not the air suspension].

The air makes it float like a Mercedes, but takes away a lot of the "sporty handling "; and makes it harder to change a tire or tow. If you can, trust me - go without the air.

Thanks. Yes I have been reading about it.
But luckily the X5m comp doesnt have air susp as the option, just the original M suspension.

I have seen a X6M competition do 0-60MPH in 3.4 seconds and a 1/4 mile time in 11.5 at 119MPH. In my m850i, I've managed 3.41 as my best and 1/4 of 11.56 at 121MPH.

The same X6M has done 60-130MPH (roll race) in 10.2 seconds. I've done from 9.79-10.1 in my M850i.

Times were tested on dragy. @200m6h is the X6M owner on Instagram. Mind you he did that a little after the break in service. He can probably run even better times with more passes and seat time.

indeed used launch control. The new X3/X4/X5/X6M are all very very impressive SUV's, very fast for "only" 617 hp
