You may like or dislike the way this car looks. But honestly, who cares what "you" think. I think this car is gorgeous. Not everyone likes the same piece of art. That's what all these awesome cars are. Art you can enjoy! No one car will be perfect and everyone is entitled to their own opinion but drive the thing. I have driven this now for about a week. Yes, I own one. I can tell you that this thing hauls. One will argue that many cars can accelerate just as fast but the xdrive on this thing makes it a supreme joy to drive, that is if you know how to take corners. 😉Better than any merc hands down. Yes, I test drove the S63 4matic. It just didn't handle as well but was just as quick if not slightly quicker out of the gate. But 0.1 sec doesn't matter to me. Also, this is $40k cheaper than the merc! That was an easy decision at that point. The M8 GT will be more of a competitor to the S63. I just wanted a two door and couldn't wait. Lol. It still puts a smile on my face when I floor it or pull away around a turn. Hope it continues til my next car!

I think it's got a great front end and the size speaks power but the side profile still reminds me of a Mustang. It's beautiful but I prefer my M5.

The M5 is a beautiful car no doubt! I just wanted a lower profile and two doors! I agree it has some similarities to the Mustang. Again, no car is perfect. 😉

Missed opportunity with the production 8 series... This car should have been a carbon copy of the gorgeous concept model

this car shouldn't win anything for the lack of progressiveness and they call it flagship? look at MBUX compared to the black LCD cockpit with opposing dials
Says the obvious troll
LMAO troll? LCD cockpit with bland navigation is the way to go over MBUX! For 100,000$ car anyone to buy this is actually as stupid to buy a Pontiac Aztec cause it looks cooool

for Fs sake, the m4 gts uses OLED wafers...and 8er doesn't? isn't this a flagship to have the best of the best?

the S63 coupe uses gorgeous wafers..
Like wafers..
lmao funny guy

The BMW 8 Series is nice, but just nice. Nowhere near as sexy as the Aston Martin Vantage.
Word. Looks like an updated 650 coupe.

I think Automobile mag is spot on.
This car looks amazing, pictures are nice but once you see it 'in the flesh' it is absolutely stunning.

To me it is nothing like a 6 series. I think it'll be a great car for BMW and it will bring lots of new customers to the brand.
Also there is no real competitor at the moment. Only the LC500(h) in my opinion. The S Coupe is too big, the Maserati too old, the DB11 too expensive.

If you want a gorgeous sporty coupe with back seats this is the car.
And yes, the rear seats can be used. Both my kids have plenty of room back there. In fact, they loved it. Much more so than the LC500h.

I can even fold the rear seats and slide my race bike in. So not only a thing of beauty but practical too.

Love it !

I couldn't have said it any better my friend. Nothing is comparable in looks, price, size, performance, practicality all in one.
