Hello, how much mechanical experience do you have?

The n63 is a hot v configuration, making it a huge pain in the ass. You also need a slim spark plug socket. There is a reason bmw charges 900 usd to change these… coolant expansion tank for bank two has to be removed and so on and so forth. If you are not an experienced mechanic or avid DIY, get ISTA and follow the instructions and pictures to the letter.

Hi
I’m fairly decent diy guy.
I have the slim socket on swivel.
Can be the coolant tank just loosen and moved to do the task?
Anyone can share the ISTA with me?

I’m about to embark on this job as well. I asked around and the coolant tank can be moved to the side but there are a bunch of different rails that need to be moved out of the way as well as the air pipes. I’ll see if i can find the instructions tomorrow.
