Did you get a vessel assignment? I'm going to check in to get a status update on my car. They should be on the same boat
Yes finally. There was some issues with the export document that bmw provided donor took longer for assignment. I'm on Apr 4 dep on KLine's Horizon Highway arr Brunswick GA on 20th. Hope I get it by end of Apr.

My final destination is the performance center in Spartanburg.

The advertised standard lead time is 10 weeks from drop off.

Looks like we're far ahead of that timeframe.

Will be interesting what delivery date I get
6-8 weeks for me, but yes it is hopefully ahead of the lower end if I get it delivered by end of April. For PCD it is likely another 2 weeks.
Arrival to Brunswick delayed to 23rd now.

Took delivery this week. It's every bit as nice as I expected.

No XDrive badge, no M badge. It's an 850i and I like it that way. And yes, I like blue BMW convertibles.

Wow I’ve had my F13 M6 parked next to an E92 M3 and they looked like they were from the same car company. Those two look like they are from other planets!

Yup they look more different than I thought they would. The E93 is friskier/more youthful (VF 620, Brembos, OSG diff with delrin bushings, Dinan exhaust, 6-sp manual) but I really like the 850i a lot, in a more mature way.

Yes finally. There was some issues with the export document that bmw provided donor took longer for assignment. I'm on Apr 4 dep on KLine's Horizon Highway arr Brunswick GA on 20th. Hope I get it by end of Apr.

Great. Now the wait till the end of the month!!
My final destination is the performance center in Spartanburg.

The advertised standard lead time is 10 weeks from drop off.

Looks like we're far ahead of that timeframe.

Will be interesting what delivery date I get
6-8 weeks for me, but yes it is hopefully ahead of the lower end if I get it delivered by end of April. For PCD it is likely another 2 weeks.
Arrival to Brunswick delayed to 23rd now.
Arrives today!

Wow awesome! Just my luck - a recall was issued on the airbags for the M2 and now my new car will be ripped apart by the VDC and probably held for a bit.
