Can the 840i GC carry bikes?

I can't see a towbar (hitch) on the BMW's UK Configurator - that would have been the ideal way to carry 2 or 3 mountain bikes.

I'm not too keen on the roof bars option - also not even sure if that's possible on the 8GC - it wasn't on the 6GC.

Does anyone know if the car is able to have a towbar fitted? Even a manual after-market one would do...

Those suction cups can lift 300-400 lbs each!

Personally, I don't care for the people behind the company based on my interactions with them, but the product is good.

But it's what we use on our cars.

Towbar for the 8 Series

Noticed an 8 Series Invisible towbar - obviously only for use with a bike carrier. Probably less drag and noise than carrying them on your roof.

Very interesting thanks. I'm now about 2.5 years into my 8GC and it's due to go back to the lease company in around a month.

That said, it's such a great car that the replacement is likely to be another 8GC or possibly an 8 coupe, so I'll take a look at this. Cheers
