Love the back end of this car. Exhaust is how the m5 should have looked. Aside from the msrp I'm in!

That'll be about 4 years from delivery date.

Well, there has always been 2 competitors since the M6GC. The Audi RS7, MB CLS AMG and Porsche Panamera Turbo. Currently Porsche and MB have already beaten BMW to launch.

True enough. I drove Panamera Turbo and liked 2 things about the car: phenomenal neutral handling and acceleration. The rest of the car did not impress me.

The M8 gran coupe can be configured and ordered today according to my dealer. Seeing if they will give the same deal as on an m8 coupe.

The back of that car had the same effect on me as a girl I dated in my 20s.

Oh, my.

Is the M8 gran coupe expected to offer any performance benefit over the M5? I do love the looks of this thing, but my F90 M5 seems like a bargain with the same performance.

Agree.

Similar to Audi which doesn't have a single wheel design that is decent.

I've come to realise that the design X factor doesn't exist with German cars.

The perfect car would be Italian design with German engineering.
